Can You Tell They're Automated?
Our emails are crafted to sound natural and personal, making it virtually impossible for coaches to detect they're part of an automated campaign. There is no "watermark" or text anywhere in the email that shows it's part of an automation. It's indistinguishable from a regular email.
Software Cost
There is one specific 3rd party software we use to accomplish this (it's the best on the market). The software is $29/mo to be paid by you (the customer). This payment is made directly to the 3rd party software, not to us. Use it for the first month only, or keep sending more emails and pause your subscription until you need it again.
Recruiting Fundamentals Curriculum
Curriculum Overview
As part of the Recruiting Launchpad, you're given access to our Recruiting Fundamentals curriculum. This curriculum covers building a target list, highlight video 101, social media 101, email outreach 101, and some other facets of college recruiting.
To find the complete curriculum for Recruiting Fundaments, go back to our departments page with our "schools," select your sport's school, and click on "Explore Curriculum" under the Recruiting Fundamentals section.
Certification & Special Rate
Upon completing and passing the Recruiting Fundamentals final exam, you'll earn a Certificate of Completion. This certificate qualifies you for a special rate when enrolling in Scholarship Lab.
Highlight Video Strategy Add on (Optional)
Video Strategy We Deploy
Standard recruiting advice recommends you create a 3-minute highlight reel of your best clips. We've found something that works much better. Instead, we create a fully organized YouTube channel of multiple clips segmented out by skill. This makes it easier for college coaches to evaluate your athlete.
Editing & Uploading
We will cut, edit and upload all of the video for you. By the end of the launchpad, you will have a fully operating Video Channel designed to impress college coaches and make it easy for them to evaluate your athlete.
Quantity of Video
We will add up to 30 videos to your Video Channel by the end of the launchpad.
What types of videos can I use?
You can give us video from Hudl, Veo, Trace, Gamechanger, your laptop and phone, or really any other video platform. Once we've located your video, we'll handle everything else.
Can you break down full game video?
Yes, but only if we're given time stamps for where the action happens. For instance: "Slide tackle at 2:27" - due to the volume of students we have, we are not able to sit through hours of full game footage to find your athlete's best plays.
Selection of best clips
We will evaluate your film and select the clips we believe will be most effective in showcasing your athlete's talent to college coaches. You will not have to select the clips yourself.
Timeline for Video Channel Delivery
The video add on takes an additional 7 days for launchpad delivery. Standard Launchpad is delivered in 7 days. Video Launchpad is delivered in 14 days.
