For high school athletes, initial interest from college coaches is an exciting first step. Weekly Q&A Calls

Purpose of These Calls

These calls are designed for you to get personalized advice that is tailored to your specific situation. Leverage the experience of our faculty and ensure that you're always putting your athlete's best foot forward to maximize scholarship offers and money.

Quantity & Frequency of Calls

We host 4 calls every week in the Scholarship Lab. The weekly call schedule is as follows:

Sunday at 5pm PST

Monday at 6pm PST

Wednesday at 8am PST

Thursday at 8am PST

Are these group calls or 1-on-1 calls?

These are group calls where you can speak directly with our faculty while learning from other families. You can unmute yourself and receive personalized advice specific to your situation.

Do I throw my question in the chat or unmute myself and ask?

Unmute yourself and speak directly with our faculty. Our families often enjoy hearing what other families ask as this accelerates their learning in college recruiting. This is not a "throw your question in the chat" kind of thing. This is an opportunity for you to have direct conversation with our recruiting experts.

Can I still come to the calls to listen & learn if I don't have a question?

Yes, and many families do this. It's an opportunity for them to hear what other parents are experiencing in the recruiting process, and how they're dealing with certain situations. Often, families will come without any questions but have one pop up after hearing a discussion with another family.

Community and Q&A Chat

Purpose of This Channel

This channel is designed for you to get personalized advice via chat any time of day. This ensures you never have to wait to receive an answer to a question or get advice regarding a specific situation. It's a recruiting genie in your pocket.

How does this work?

As specific situations come up, it's helpful to get personalized advice without having to wait for the weekly calls. This channel is for dedicated recruiting questions. Simply put your question in our community, and our faculty will provide advice (or ask follow up questions if we need more context on the situation). This is also a place for you to engage with other parents so it doesn't feel like you're going through the recruiting process alone.

How many questions am I allowed to ask & how specific can I be?

You can ask an unlimited amount of questions. And we hope you'll be as specific as possible. These do not need to be "general" questions. We invite you to ask specific questions that pertain directly to your recruiting process and situation. This can include situations with specific schools, scripts you need for a particular conversation with a coach, or advice on choosing a showcase or camp. Often, families learn by hearing the specific questions and answers of other families.

What if I have something private that I don't want other people to see?

We have a private email support line as well, so you can get your question answered no matter what. However, we encourage your to ask the majority of your questions in the channel as this allows other families to chime in with their experience and help other families learn from your situation.

What platform is the chat held on?

The chat is held on Telegram. Telegram is a free, billion user app known for a friendly user experience and maximum privacy. To join the group, you'll simply download Telegram and click on a "join group" link we send you.

Don't Let a Preventable Mistake Derail a Six-Figure Opportunity

Receiving that first bit of interest from a college coach is a milestone. It feels like the door is finally opening. But this is where the real work begins—and where many families unknowingly make critical errors that silently close that door forever.

The truth is, turning initial interest into a firm scholarship offer is a delicate process. A single misstep in communication, a poorly timed follow-up, or an awkward conversation on a campus visit can be all it takes for a coach to move on to the next recruit on their list. These aren't just fumbles; they are relationship-killing mistakes that can cost your family a six-figure opportunity.

Many parents believe their intuition and passion are enough to guide them. Yet, without a deep understanding of the unwritten rules of recruiting, they risk appearing unprofessional, overbearing, or unorganized. They sabotage their athlete's chances without ever realizing it.

The Scholarship Lab was created to eliminate this risk. We provide you with the proven, professional framework for every interaction. You'll learn not just what to do, but just as critically, what not to do. We ensure every step you take strengthens your relationship with coaches and moves you closer to the scholarship offer your child deserves.

Take Control of Your Recruiting Destiny

In today's hyper-competitive college recruiting landscape, waiting to be discovered is a losing strategy. The game has changed. What worked five years ago—or even two—is no longer enough. Success requires more than talent; it demands a proactive, strategic approach.

The key is to move from a reactive to a proactive mindset. Instead of passively waiting for coaches to continue recruiting your athlete, you must take control of the process. This means intentionally creating exposure, systematically building genuine relationships, and consistently generating opportunities. With the Scholarship Lab, you get the playbook & guidance to do just that. We empower you to drive the process, not just react to it.

Is Scholarship Lab the Path For You?

Scholarship Lab will be most helpful for families struggling with any one of these obstacles (or multiple).

  • Don't know which showcases & camps are worth it

  • Struggling with the path from interest to offer

Go from "unsure" to clear & confident in your athlete's recruiting process.
